Dying Light is an open-world game set during a zombie apocalypse. Players have to traverse an expansive urban environment overrun by vicious zombies to scavenge for supplies, as well as crafting weapons to defend themselves. Dying Light is very melee based and features more than 100 weapons. The game also heavily features free-running/parkour. There will be four characters made available to players, all of which can be customised.

Additionally, Dying Light contains a dynamic day and night cycle. During the day, it is safer for the player to go scavenging, as well as setting traps and saving other survivors. The game will also feature a dynamic weather system, including a variety of conditions to challenge players, such as fog, rain, and wind.

Dying Light Comes to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on January 30, 2015 for Europe. The game releases in America on January 27, 2015, followed by Asia, Australia, and New Zealand on January 28, 2015.
