Amiibo crates have already sold out

It was only four days ago that Loot Crate launched its subscription plans for the special amiibo crates, however, the crates have already completely sold out. If you were too busy trying to decide whether you wanted to go for one of the subscription plans or not, I’m afraid you’ve already missed out.

Nintendo and Loot Crate partnered together to offer fans a special crate subscription where fans would receive 10 amiibo figures over 3 weeks. In addition, subscribers also receive a bunch of other Nintendo goodies. The subscriptions weren’t exactly cheap though, you were looking at forking out $155 if you paid up front, or $165 if you wanted to pay weekly.

Considering that this partnership seems to have been extremely successful, I’d be interested to see whether Loot Crate and Nintendo decide to join together in the future for other offers. The Loot Crate page states “Sorry, our amiibo™ Crates are no longer available. Fortunately, we have more epic deals coming soon!“, however, it doesn’t clarify whether any future deals will involve Nintendo. One can only hope.
