As part of the celebration of the Xbox One’s one year anniversary, Microsoft and Insomniac Games are allowing all Xbox Live Gold members a taste of Sunset Overdrive. Starting tomorrow on November 22nd at 12.01 Eastern Time, all Xbox Live Gold members will be able to access the full game for 24 hours on their Xbox One for free.

Players will be able to earn achievements and save their progress and should they decide to buy the full game at a future date they can carry on from where they left off. Sunset Overdrive’s 8-player cooperative multiplayer experience, Chaos Squad, will also be available, however, it must be unlocked by progressing to a certain point in the campaign.

After the action-packed, mutant-filled weekend, Insomniac Games will also showcase several new weapons that will be available soon.

Don’t forget that as part of the Xbox One anniversary celebrations, select Xbox One owners will be rewarded for being part of the next-generation. Not only can you receive some digital freebies, but you can also be in with a chance at winning some even better goodies.
