Nintendo has announced a range of new themes that will be arriving this Friday for 3DS and 2DS. There will be four new Sonic themes, depicting Shadow, Amy Rose, Sonic, and my personal favourite - Chaos! In addition to these themes, there will also be a Christmas “Merry Mario” one available for those of you who feel like getting into the festive mood a little bit early.

It’s a shame that the Mario Christmas theme doesn’t appear to be free, however, it’s always nice to see more additions added to the range of themes. I assume these new themes will be priced at the standard cost of themes, which is currently £1.79 / €1,99 each; you can see the full range of themes that are available via the official website.
