We’re looking for like-minded writers to join the team at Geeks Don’t Lie. All you need is a passion for gaming and a talent for writing. Experience doesn’t matter. The site started small only a couple of months ago, but has since taken off really well. Our audience is growing every month and because of this we need more team members to keep up with the growth of the website.

We encourage opinion pieces and will offer reviews/previews to team members who prove themselves capable of the job, as well as having an interest in the game in question. Generally, the job description is to post gaming related news on a regular basis. However, we won’t force you to write news that you are not interested in, we want your passion to shine through your work and so we like to hear your personal favourite gaming highlights.

Although primarily UK-based, we do report on news from around the world and so accept applications from any location. We’re not currently in a position to pay writers, however, this is a good chance to get your name out there, get experience as a game journalist, and build a portfolio of your writing.

• Write a sample article of how you would report on that news. Minimum length 150 words.
