Square Enix has today announced that Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will be available in Europe on PlayStation 4 from May 15, 2015 as a digital download or boxed retail version, priced at £39.99/€49.99. Those who pre-order the physical version will receive a limited edition that includes a special steelbook with artwork by renowned Final Fantasy artist Yoshitaka Amano. This version is available exclusively across PAL territories.

America on the other hand will be receiving Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster a little earlier on May 12, 2015 and have their own pre-order exclusive - a desktop calendar featuring artwork by Yoshitaka Amano. Which do you prefer, steelbook or calendar?

Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 were both released on the PlayStation 2. The games were remastered and released together on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in late 2013. The PlayStation 4 version will feature enhanced graphics, additionally, players will be able to choose between the original or rearranged soundtrack for Final Fantasy X. The game will feature full cross-save compatibility, meaning you can transfer your save and continue your progress across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.
