With the implementation of patch 2.51 yesterday, the latest veteran reward has been added to Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. As previously announced, the 720 day reward is inspired by the popular Final Fantasy VII character, Cloud Strife. The costume is called the Advent Attire and includes the Strife Vest, Strife Gloves, Strife Bags, and Strife Boots.

Veteran Rewards are in-game item bonuses that are awarded to players periodically based on how long they have had an active subscription. The rewards are based on accumulative subscription, so it doesn’t matter if you take a break from the game for a while as it rewards you based on your overall subscription time. The rewards are distributed via the moogle delivery service in-game as soon as you qualify for each new rank of reward and apply to all current and future characters you own. If destroyed or dropped, these items can not be replaced.

Patch 2.51 added the highly anticipated Manderville Gold Saucer theme park to Eorzea, allowing Final Fantasy XIV players to participate in a host of mini-events and entertainment.
