Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is currently unavailable and undergoing maintenance while Square Enix implements the latest patch - patch 2.51. The maintenance is scheduled to end at 10:00 am GMT, however, this time may be subject to change.

While you’re twiddling your thumbs and waiting for A Realm Reborn to be accessible again, Square Enix has kindly released the patch notes for 2.51, revealing lots of details about what we can expect when we return to Eorzea.

The patch notes give details on new quests, new side-quests, as well as information on the highly anticipated Manderville Gold Saucer. There’s a more in-depth look at the activities that will be available at the Gold Saucer, with an explanation as to how the mini games work and a great look at the Triple Triad cards. There will also be new haircuts added to the aesthetician.
