New items have been added to the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn optional items store! You can now buy Metallic Red Dye, Metallic Green Dye, and Metallic Blue Dye in batches of ten for the price of £4.31. However, the real interesting addition to the store is the Moonlet, a beautiful pearl earring reminiscent of the moon that can be yours for just £1.73. This item was originally distributed during the Hunter’s Moon event prior to 2014.

Of course, if none of these items appeal to you, maybe you know a friend that would like them instead? Square Enix recently added the option to gift items from the real money store to other players. You can purchase these items via the optional items store, which is a part of the Mog Station website. It appears that once added to the store the items will remains indefinitely, as the very first event items to appear, the Hallowe’en ones, are still available. It’s a great feature that allows players to catch up on items that they may have missed from past events.

Don’t forget that Final Fantasy XIV‘s first expansion, Heavensward, is releasing later this year. Heavensward is due to release on June 23, 2015. Those who pre-order will be able to access the game early on June 19, 2015, as well as receiving the Baron Circlet and Earrings, as well as the Black Chocobo Courier minion.
