Failbetter Games revealed earlier in the month that the top-secret project that it had been working on was Dragon Age: The Last Court, in collaboration with Bioware. Now only a few days later, Dragon Age: The Last Court, a browser-based text adventure from Failbetter Games, is now available for free via the Dragon Age Keep service.

The Last Court sees the player take on the role of the ruler of Serault, guiding your fiefdom through its darkest time in the hopes of redeeming it from its ancient shame. Players must manage their own courts; choosing counsellors, bodyguards, accomplices, and even a lover. As ruler, you must manage the affairs of Serault, deciding which threat you should see to first, the outlaws in your own or the unspeakable creatures in the woods? The game promises that “That are stories to explore and secrets to unravel.”, even teasing that “you’ll run into a few familiar faces from other Dragon Age titles.”

If you have yet to check out Dragon Age Keep, you’ve now got more one reason to head on over to the official website. The online application allows players to import and edit their choices from Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II in preparation for Inquisition. Additionally, users can fabricate their own history if they didn’t play the previous games in the franchise, enabling them to tailor their background before Inquisition launches.

Dragon Age: The Last Court looks like it will be more than enough to keep us occupied until the release of Dragon Age: Inquisition on November 21, 2014.
