Bioware has released its latest Dragon Age: Inquisition trailer; the video focuses on everyone’s favourite dwarf, Varric, and his favourite weapon, Bianca the crossbow. It’s great to see a familiar face from Dragon Age II returning, not just as a cameo but as part of the roster of Inquisition companions. Varric was one of my favourites of the last game, however, will his roguish charm be enough to keep him that way, or will one of the newer characters win me over more? I guess I’ll know for sure in a week.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is scheduled to release on November 21, 2014 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. If you’re desperate for a Dragon Age fix before then, you should check out Failbetter Games’ browser-based text adventure game, Dragon Age: The Last Court.

If that doesn’t keep you occupied enough, you can check out Dragon Age Keep, which allows players to import and edit choices from Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II in preparation for Inquisition. Additionally, users can create their own back story if they haven’t played the previous games.
