Nintendo is hosting a special Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire launch event in London, on November 29, 2014. Fifteen lucky Pokémon fans will be able to be one of the first to get their hands on the Eon Ticket via StreetPass. The Eon Ticket allows the player the opportunity to catch one of the Legendary Eon Pokémon, Latias or Latios. Producer of GAME FREAK, Junichi Masuda, will be at the launch event in London to release the very first ticket.

If you are one of the selected winners you’ll be able to meet with Junichi Masuda, receive the Eon Ticket, as well as being given a bunch of exclusive Pokémon goodies. Winners will be sent to one of 15 GAME stores within the UK; you could be the one to bring the Eon Ticket to that town or city! Full details about the event will be posted on November 13, 2014 on the official web page.

The Eon Ticket will be available virally, so unless you attend the special launch event, you’ll have to wait until you happen to StreetPass someone who has it already. I actually love the uniqueness of StreetPass and I think this is great way to implement it for the forthcoming release of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
