During the Windows 10 event that took place today, Microsoft announced that Fable Legends players would be able to play together across devices. Microsoft and Lionhead Studios showed off the cross-platform ability for Xbox One and PC where fans can play with one another in Fable Legends.

Although Fable Legends was the only game mentioned when discussing this new feature, I imagine other Microsoft Studio games that release for both Xbox One and PC may also implement this in the future. After all, once knowing it can be done it would seem kind of weird not to include it wherever possible.

Microsoft also announced today that Xbox One owners will be able to stream their games to any Windows 10 device. It was actually quite nice to see a decent chunk of gaming related news in the Windows 10 event.
