Telltale Games has released the teaser trailer for its forthcoming six part episodic game series set in the world of Westeros. Game of Thrones: Iron From Ice tells the story of the noble family of House Forrester who are loyal to the Starks of Winterfell. Amidst the events of the War of the Five Kings, the Forresters are “thrown into a maelstrom of bloody warfare, revenge, intrigue, and horror as they fight to survive while the seven kingdoms tear themselves apart”.

The trailer not only uses the appearance of the HBO Game of Thrones characters, but apparently their vocal talents too. Lena Headey, who plays Cersei Lannister in the TV series, can be heard narrating the trailer. It’s also more than evident that the screen shots that were leaked earlier in the week are most definitely real.

As with other Telltale games, such as The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us, players will change the fate of the characters by choices they make, shaping their own story based upon their decisions.
