Armikrog, The Banner Saga, Kyn and Toren all coming to PS4 in 2015
Versus Evil is an indie publisher that has worked with many talented indie studios, launching their games into the hands of gamers around the world. Sony has announced that four of these amazing titles will be coming to PlayStation 4 in early 2015.
Armikrog
From the creators of Earthworm Jim and The Neverhood comes a point-and-click adventure game featuring stop motion clay animation. It is the spiritual successor to The Neverhood, hence it uses the same quirky animation style. The premise of the game is that space explorer, Tommynaut, crash lands on a strange planet with his blind, talking dog, Beak-Beak. Together they end up locked up in a strange fortress called Armikrog.
The Banner Saga
This Viking-themed turn based strategy game has already won several awards and has a second chapter in the works; it’s already carved out a name for itself as a classic. The Banner Saga also features beautiful old-school 2D animation.
Kyn
Keeping with the Viking theme, two guys from Holland made this tactical RPG in just two years, entirely by themselves. The game offers endless hours of adventuring, with a few sheep on the side too.
Toren
Brazilian indie studio, Swordtales, brings gamers a dark fantasy adventure where you take control of a lonely girl, Moonchild, who must climb the tower of Toren. This beautiful puzzle game evokes the protective instincts of the player as they accompany Moonchild from infant to adolescent.
All four of these titles will be available to play at PlayStation Experience in Las Vegas on December 6 and December 7, 2014.
