One of my favourite mobile games has decided to take up the cowl, as Doodle Jump DC Super Heroes launched for iOS yesterday. The game features the same endless jumping level gameplay, only with Doodler dressed as Batman and the familiar villains from Gotham making an appearance. Bat-Doodler must chase down the infamous Batman villains, who by the way look hilarious yet adorable, as they have stolen powerful energy crystals. Players can also use the Bat-copter or the Bat-Jet to reach new heights, or even use the Bat-Grappling Gun to prevent themselves from falling. Future updates will add the likes of Superman and Wonder Woman, as well as their nemeses.

This collaboration between Lima Sky and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment combines two brilliant franchises into an addictive and whimsical mobile game. The first Doodle Jump stole many hours of my time from me so I’m looking forward to getting hands on with this new title.

Doodle Jump DC Super Heroes is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 5.0 or later. It will be coming to the Android and Amazon Appstores in 2015. In the meantime, be sure to check out the announcement trailer below.
