GAME is starting its post-Christmas deals in earnest, not only can you pick up your yearly Xbox Live Gold membership subscription at a discounted price, you can get two games for free in the process!

Twelve months of Xbox Live Gold has been reduced to £29.99 and when you buy it from game.co.uk, Zoo Tycoon for Xbox One and Viva Piñata for Xbox 360 will be automatically added to your basket and discounted so you receive them for free.

The games might not be ground breaking titles but I think this is actually a really good deal. Both games are family titles, which is perfect considering families who have ventured into the world of buying a Microsoft console this Christmas can all enjoy them.

Don’t forget, these aren’t the only free games you can access once you get your twelve months subscription. Once active, you can take advantage of the Games with Gold promotion for both Xbox One and Xbox 360. There’s still time to pick up Worms Battlegrounds and Volgarr the Viking for Xbox One, as well as SSX for Xbox 360, before the end of December. Jaunary’s Games with Gold have also been unveiled already, with MX vs. ATV Alive and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings for Xbox 360, then D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die for Xbox One.

Although the yearly Xbox Live Gold membership has been reduced to £32.00 in GAME stores, it seems as though the two free games offer is only available online.
