Owners of Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire in Europe can now download the special event Serperior. Previously only available in Japan, this Serperior has the hidden ability Contrary. This Pokémon is distributed via the Mystery Gift option when users redeem the code: POKEMON497. The code can only be used once per game, so be sure that your 3DS/2DS battery is sufficiently charged when redeeming the code.

There’s no word on when this Serperior when make its way to American 3DS consoles, however, it undoubtedly will do so at some point in the future. Event Pokémon are regularly distributed via the Mystery Gift option in the game menu. Serebii updates its website to keep fans in the loop as to which rare Pokémon they can obtain, so be sure to check the website regularly.
