Square Enix has added a new reward tier to the veteran rewards for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn players. This new ninth rank rewards players with the exceptionally cute Wind-up Nanamo minion and a Fat Chocobo Head item. To gain these goodies you first have to have been subscribed to Final Fantasy XIV for a total of 630 days.

Veteran Rewards are in-game item bonuses are awarded to players periodically based on how long they have had an active subscription. The rewards are based on accumulative subscription, so it doesn’t matter if you take a break from the game for a while as it rewards you based on your overall subscription time. The rewards are distributed via the moogle delivery service in-game as soon as you qualify for each new rank of reward and apply to all current and future characters you own.

Be warned, these special bonus items will not be replaced by Square Enix should you throw them away, so make sure you use them safely.
