It’s the second week of the Halo 5: Guardians Beta and fans are being treated to even more content. A brand new round-based game mode has been added - Breakout. Spartans only have one life per round, the first team to take five rounds wins. Breakout is available on two maps, Crossfire and Trench.

In addition, two new maps have been swapped into the Slayer playlist, Regret and Eden. Regret is a remix of Truth, whereas Eden is a remix of Empire, both of which were included in the first week of the beta. As per the fan vote, players will also be able to wield a brand-new weapon to the Halo universe while on the Regret map, the Hydra MLRS. BR starts have now been implemented in the Slayer playlist.

The Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer Beta began on December 29, 2014 and concludes on January 18, 2015.
