PlayStation Plus version of Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty will not feature Cross-Buy

It was revealed yesterday that Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty would feature in this month’s free PlayStation Plus games. However, Oddworld Inhabitants has clarified via Twitter that this version will only be available on the PlayStation 4 and does not feature the Cross-Buy element that will be available for those who purchased the game.

The PlayStation 3 release of Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty is supposed to launch some time this month, with the PlayStation Vita version launching at a later date. Anyone who purchases the game for PlayStation 4 will be able to utilise the Cross-Buy feature in the future and play Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita for free. Unlucky, PlayStation Plus subscribers. The Xbox One version is also supposed to launch this month, with Oddworld Inhabitants stating that work on the Wii U version is also continuing. We recently played Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty for PC and adored it, check out our review here.
