Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty coming to Xbox One on March 27

Oddworld Inhabitants has announced that Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty will be arriving for Xbox One as a digital download on March 27, 2015 for £14.99/$19.99/€19.99. The game will be launching as part of the ID@Xbox self-publishing program from Microsoft. Players can reunite with Abe and escape RuptureFarms in Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty in this ground-up remake of the original Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee that was released for the PlayStation back in 1997. This is the first Oddworld game on the Xbox format since Stranger’s Wrath back in 2005.

The Xbox One version will feature the post-launch improvements and tweaks made to the PlayStation 4 version, including the fan-requested ‘old school’ control settings, the QuikSave and QuikLoad functions, and offer achievements and online leaderboards.

I recently played this awesome platformer on PC and loved it. You can read my review here. The PlayStation 3 version of the game is also scheduled to release this month, but has yet to receive an official date. Work on the Wii U and PlayStation Vita versions also continues.
