Halo fans have discovered a mysterious Halo 5: Guardians Tumblr account with an active countdown timer. The tumblr features the hashtag #HUNTtheTRUTH, an image of a bullet with the word “traitor” on it, and a timer that currently has just over two days and 11 hours to go.

Clearly there’s going to be an announcement in a couple of days, but what could the announcement be? The most obvious news would be a release date for Halo 5: Guardians, but I wouldn’t rule out an announcement for another season of Halo: Nightfall, or something else Halo related that no one really cares about in comparison to the release date of Guardians.

Halo 5: Guardians is due to release this year for Xbox One, fingers crossed we get a fixed release date soon.
