PayPal is now accepted for EU World of Warcraft subscriptions

Blizzard has announced that players are now able to use PayPal as a form of payment for their World of Warcraft subscriptions in Europe. Additionally, current and new subscribers can assign a PayPal account as their automatic payment method via the Battle.net Account Management page.

With the recent announcement of the WoW token, which allows players to buy game time with gold via the Auction House, it appears that Blizzard is aiming to make game time as accessible as possible for all players. Online players are sure to feel more confident about using trusted payment methods, such as PayPal, or simply pay with their hard-earned gold, than by inputting their credit or debit card details. Of course, if you were that worried, you could still just buy a game time card from your local store. In any case, it’s nice to Blizzard expand the range of payment options.
