Ubisoft has announced an open beta for The Crew for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The beta will take place next week, from November 25, 2014 until November 27, 2014. Although the beta will be available to all Xbox Live and PlayStation Network users, some features will require an Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus membership.

Players will be able to explore the entire United States as well as being able to participate in challenges in two of the five regions that are available in the game. The PvP lobbies in the same two regions, Midwest and East Coast, will also be available during the beta. Two of the five spec classes, Street and Dirt, will be accessible to any one who wants to customise their car.
