Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End delayed until Spring 2016

Naughty Dog has announced that it has made the difficult decision in delaying PlayStation 4 exclusive, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End until Spring 2016. The developer has stated that the reason for the delay is because the project “is much more ambitious than we originally envisioned” and to ensure that the game reaches the high standard that gamers have come to expect:

So we’ve made the difficult choice of pushing the game’s release date. Giving us a few extra months will make certain that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End not only meets the team’s high standards, but the high standards that gamers have come to expect from a Naughty Dog title.

Naughty Dog has promised that the wait will be worth it and that it will reveal more about Uncharted 4 over the course of the year. It can never be an easy decision to delay a game, especially one with such a fan following. However, we must respect Naughty Dog’s decision and trust that the delay will make the game even better.
