Final Fantasy Type-0 HD offers a new and exciting type of game play from the normal style you’d expect from the Final Fantasy series. However, Square Enix has released the “The Legacy Lives On” gameplay video to assure fans that they’ll still be able to find lots of elements that are familiar to them from the Final Fantasy franchise. There will even be some familiar faces in the game, although not all of them will be helpful to you on your journey.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is a high-definition port of the original game that launched for the PlayStation Portable in Japan in October 2011. For a long time, fans wondered whether they would ever see a western release of the game, fortunately we’re not only finally getting one, we’re getting a beautiful HD version for the new generation of consoles.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is due to release on March 20, 2015 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Those who pre-order the game will also receive a code for the playable demo of Final Fantasy XV, available while stocks last.
