Custom amiibos are appearing everywhere, producing great pieces of art, crazy combinations, and everything in between. The last few weeks we’ve seen some amazing custom amiibos, such as Waluigi made to a professional standard, although non-functional. There was also the woollen Yoshi that was absolutely adorable. Now, the latest custom amiibo to wow the web is this modified Link amiibo.

This Link amiibo has been fully repainted using his classic Hero of Time colours. The yellow stand has been removed (which did always bug me), however, this also means the figure will most likely be more fragile. The head has also been re-positioned so that Link faces forward rather than down. This custom amiibo is currently listed on eBay for £69.99, however, there have currently been no bids and the reserve has not yet been met even at this starting price. I imagine that by the time the auction ends, the price will have increased considerably.

It would seem likely that we will see other impressive custom amiibos from this creator, as they have set up a Facebook page here. Currently, only the Link amiibo is shown, but I look forward to seeing other amiibos transformed in the same way.
