Today Valve has reached its half way mark for its crowd funded tournament, The International, which is $7,500,000. That is a lot of money and it raised this just in 10 days. This gives us a little more hope that it will reach all of the Compendium’s stretch goals which ends at $15,000,000.

In the blog post Valve also stated that the latest stretch goal that has been reached will be implemented a little later(you know the rules quality before quantity).

We know the most important aspect of these Immortals is their quality level, so we are also planning on spending some extra time polishing them rather than releasing them quickly.

But don’t let this get your hopes down, there is more! There will be an update this week that will include new challenges for your compendium, the item recycling system(again) and a new way to earn compendium points. As usual you can read all about it here
