Dragon Age: Inquisition producer, Cameron Lee, has announced that he’s started work on a new Bioware IP today. Although he hasn’t given any extra information as to what the new IP is, he stated that it “time to help bring life to a new IP“.

David Gaider, lead writer of the Dragon Age franchise for the past decade, also recently announced that he was leaving the Dragon Age franchise to start work on one of Bioware’s new IPs. It’s possible that the two men are now working on the same new IP, which in turn could be the same brand new IP that Bioware teased at E3 last year. It could also be one of the other projects that Bioware has in the works, which I hope to hear more about at E3 this year.

Although Gaider announced that someone else would be taking over from him, Lee has made no such promises. This makes me wonder whether we won’t see another Dragon Age title in the works until Lee finishes his work on this new IP. EA CFO Blake Jorgensen already confirmed that we would not see a new Dragon Age title this year, which is hardly surprising given the still recent release of Inquisition.
