UPDATE: The Splatoon amiibo figures have also sold out now.

While GAME has only listed a few of the new amiibo figures, and the Nintendo store has so far only listed the Splatoon ones, today Zavvi listed all of the recently announced amiibos and they sold out shortly afterwards. All of the new amiibo figures except the two Splatoon amiibos have now sold out.

It’s not hard to see why either, at £10.99 a figure, Zavvi is a far better deal than GAME’s £14.99. Additionally, the Yoshi’s Woolly World bundle that includes the game and green Yoshi amiibo is only £34.99. When the game by itself is listed at £32.99, you’re getting that extra amiibo at a bargain price. Unfortunately, this bundle has sold out too.

This whole amiibo madness is getting even more ridiculous than before. I get that at the begining Nintendo probably wasn’t aware just how popular the figures would be and so they were limited in number. But now? What’s the reason behind the lack of amiibos now? We all know they’ll sell, so make more of them! For those who missed out on Zavvi, your best bet is to keep an eye on the Nintendo store, or GAME.
