Hitman GO arrives for Windows 8 and Windows Phone, features cross-buy
Hitman GO, the turn-based strategy game with beautifully rendered diorama-style set pieces, has finally landed on Windows devices. The game launched on iOS over a year ago and came to Android devices last year. Now it is also available for Windows 8 and compatible Windows Phones for £3.89/$4.99. The Hitman GO page states “Get once, download on compatible Windows Phones too“, meaning that it features a cross-buy element. As to whether it counts as two separate achievement stacks remains to be seen.
Players must strategically navigate fixed spaces with their Agent 47 playing piece on puzzle grids, avoiding enemies and taking out targets, as well as infiltrating well-guarded locations. Many of the staple Hitman tools of the trade are included; disguises, distractions, sniper rifles, and even 47’s iconic Silverballers. I personally loved Hitman GO, if you’re a fan of the Hitman series you will love this delightfully charming yet challenging strategy puzzle game.
