UK retailer GAME has unveiled an ink-redible pre-order bonus for customers who pre-order any edition of Splatoon for Wii U. Now you can unleash your inner inkling as you don your very own Splatoon themed inkling hat. Anyone who has already pre-ordered will be eligible for this bonus item. The pre-order bonus is confirmed for online orders, while in-store orders have yet to confirm whether they will also be giving away this adorable hat, going by past pre-order bonuses I imagine that it will be made available to customers both online and in store.

What’s more, if that’s enough to tempt you into purchasing Splatoon, GAME has discounted the standard version of the game to just £32.99, although it’s unclear how long this offer will last. Originally the game was priced at £44.99.

Nintendo announced today that it would be airing a Nintendo Direct on May 7, 2015 that will focus solely on Splatoon, so stay tuned for even more Splatoon news in a week. Splatoon will be releasing on May 29, 2015 for the Wii U, the American fixed pack will launch alongside the game, however, the Splatoon Wii U fixed pack for Europe will be available on June 19, 2015. If you’re an avid amiibo collector looking to score all three Splatoon amiibos, UK retailer GAME has a bundle of the game and all three figures still in stock on its website.
