It’s only February and E3 is already rearing its hype-driven head through the door. Publisher, Bethesda Softworks, has today announced that it will be having its first-ever E3 conference on June 14, 2015, two days before the official opening of the expo. The company put out a news article on its website earlier briefing the public about the plans while also explaining that fans will later be able to sign-up to attend the event or, alternatively, watch it live online via its Twitch channel.

Bethesda currently has three games in the works: BattleCry, Doom and the console port for Elder Scrolls Online, however, to warrant this conference, it is likely some new announcements will be made. Possible titles could be a new Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Rage or even, although recent, a Dishonored 2. Fallout, in particular, given the mass hysteria surrounding even the slightest teasing at a new instalment is the most likely candidate for a return, especially since it has been 5 years since the last title - New Vegas, and the demand is high. Equally, it certainly isn’t out of the question to expect a new IP, although, given the range of series Bethesda could return to, I can definitely live without one.

And as if by magic, this news comes a day after our site’s 10 franchises to be revisited article which announced the Fallout franchise as number 5… spooky.
