Project CARS now launching on April 2 for Europe

Bandai Namco has announced that Project CARS will now launch on April 2, 2015 in Europe for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Both digital and physical versions will launch on the same day. The game was supposed to launch on March 17 for America, March 20 for Europe, and March 21 for the UK, after already being delayed before. Initially Project CARS was supposed to launch last November, yet now we have another delay. The silver lining here is that the delay is only by a couple of weeks.

It seems probable that the UK will receive it on either March 31 or April 3, as a Thursday release of April 2 seems highly unusual, and therefore unlikely. The Wii U and SteamOS/Linux versions are due to release later in 2015. There’s been no confirmation as to whether Project CARS will also be delayed for other territories, however, I imagine that it’s fairly likely it will be delayed everywhere.
