European Zelda fans can look forward to customizing their New 3DS consoles with these awesome Zelda-themed face plates at the end of the month. Already announced for Japan, thanks to the German Nintendo Twitter account we now know that we’ll also see these arrive on European shores on February 27, 2015.

Both face plate designs are rather nice, one features Skull Kid from The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, but to be honest, the more simple black and gold of the other face plate appeals to me more. Bearing the Hylian emblem on the bottom and covered in repeating Triforces on the front, the black face plate just seems much more stylish to me. I love the customisation options of the face plates for the New 3DS, however, it’s such a shame that the New 3DS XL consoles don’t have the same feature.
