Sony’s holiday thank you makes up for PSN problems over Christmas
With all the problems over Christmas with the PlayStation Network, it’s understandable that quite a few users were left feeling a little less than happy. In an effort to make amends, Sony is offering a subscription extension to PlayStation Plus users. Any users who had an active Plus membership, or free Plus trial, on December 25, 2014 will automatically be given an extension of five days. Sony has announced that it will update the PlayStation blog once the extension becomes available, even if your membership ends before the extension is put into place, you will still receive those extra five days.
If you weren’t a PlayStation Plus user when the Network went down, don’t fear, Sony has something in store for you too. Sometime this month, Sony will offer a one-time use code that gives users 10% discount off a total cart purchase in the PlayStation Store. The code will be available for a limited time only but will be made available to all PlayStation Network members.
If you are a PlayStation Plus subscriber, don’t forget to pick up your awesome free titles that are available this month.
