Square Enix has announced a new contest where Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn fans can win themselves some exclusive in-game items. All you have to do is put your culinary skills to the test and create a Final Fantasy XIV-themed meal and post a photograph of your entry on the official entry forums.

To enter, you must currently have an active Final Fantasy XIV service account. Only one entry per person will be counted, if you submit multiple entries, only the first will be accepted. Entries utilising FINAL FANTASY XIV graphics or other in-game resources will be disqualified. So far, only a European “Great Eorzean Cook-Off” contest has been announced with no news as to whether America will have its own equivalent.

How to Enter:
Following the theme, take a photograph of your dish and post on the official entry forums thread with a brief comment. Entries must contain the following information:

• Name of the FFXIV-themed food dish
• Character name
• World name
• Photo(s) showing the Dish being created (Up to five (5) photos will be permitted)
• One (1) photo of the finished Dish
• Proof of originality by including the Contestant’s character name, World name, and title of the creation somewhere within the Photo of the Dish

* Entry image will be viewable publicly.

Accepted Entry Format:
Picture Resolution: The height and width can be no larger than 1024 pixels each*. Picture Format must be either JPEG or PNG. The entry must be an original work that is being publicised for the first time for this contest.
* A photograph may not be accepted if its resolution or aspect ratio deviates greatly from that prescribed.

Prizes:
We will be awarding:
Five grand prize winners across all forum languages (English/French/German) will receive the grand prize of:

• One Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn in-game item: “Bluebird Earring” and three hundred Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn in-game items: “Skyrocket” fireworks.

Additionally, twenty-five winners from each forum language (English/French/German) totalling seventy-five prize winners with this prize:

• One Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn in-game item: “Bluebird Earring”.

No cash alternative shall be provided in place of the Prize. Please note that prizes are transferable only to the characters linked to a Contestant’s Service Account.

Entry Period:
March 4, 2015 09:00 AM (GMT) to March 23, 2015 10:00 AM (GMT).

Winner Selection:
The Final Fantasy XIV EU Community Team will select the best entries based on overall creativity. Winners will be announced via the forum on March 26, 2015. Prizes will be delivered to each winner via the in-game Moogle delivery service.
