Hearthstone for smartphones will cross-play with PC and tablet versions
The release of the smart phone version of Hearthstone is fast approaching and fortunately for players, it looks like smart phone players will be able to challenge Hearthstone players of other formats. Hearthstone‘s lead designer, Eric Dodds, confirmed to GameSpot that any multiplayer battle could be against a player of any format.
It will be your exact same account, so all your cards on tablet or PC will be available on your phone too. When you start a match on a phone, you could be playing someone on another phone, someone on a tablet, on a PC, who knows? It’s all one big ecosystem.
In other Hearthstone news, Hearthstone’s Blackrock Mountain Adventure can now be pre-purchased from the store. Anyone who pre-purchases will receive an exclusive card back.
